The Nineties were about to roar in, with new and amazing technologies like consumer Internet access, mobile phones and DVDs to further enhance our lives. Now, we are better prepared to understand the intricacies contained within.

Sold as the ultimate way to play Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) games, this rad glove used motion controls to make 80’s kids feel like they were in the game. It had a huge marketing push, and even appeared in a Nintendo-sponsored movie!
Despite its alluring potential as the future of gaming, it ended up being a poor man’s Kinect that didn’t even work reliably. Despite this, if you were a kid back then, you’d have wanted one. If only that power stone was real! Cause' the Power Glove was striking but didn’t offer much striking resistance in the end… or cut resistance, or abrasion resistance. It’s just a toy, after all!
