What’s the hottest new thing to do in Singapore? Visiting Jewel Changi, which boasts amazing attractions! Such as the HSBC Rain Vortex, the Shiseido Forest Valley, and most importantly: the return of A&W!

But as grateful as we are for our world-class airport, let’s not forget that plenty of unique airports exist all around the world. As an international company, we at PDS are proud to share some of these airports with you today.

KUALA LUMPUR AIRPORT:

TALLEST AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL TOWER

This airport houses Tower West, which towers over all other air traffic control towers at a staggering 133.8m tall.

Cleaning the windows of this tower would be a tall order indeed! If you must try, make sure you’re safe. We carry fall protection systems that guarantee your workers are safe when the need to do manual work at heights arises!

QAMDO BAMDA AIRPORT:

LONGEST RUNWAY

At a staggering 5,500m long, this airport has the longest paved runway in the world. The airport itself is located high above sea level, so that runway length is necessary for planes taking off from high altitudes.

Imagine walking from one end of that runway to the other! With our range of safety boots and shoes, you can be sure that your shoes don’t wear out before that walk is over. They are rugged and designed for years of hard service!

EXETER AIRPORT:

HAPPIEST IN THE WORLD!

A study of 160 airports in over 30 countries has revealed that this UK airport is happiest in the world. A mix of pleasant customer service and quality facilities shot this airport to the front of customer satisfaction ratings.

We at PDS are inspired by Exeter airport, and would like to invite you to experience our service, too! If you need a pair of safety glasses, we provide a complete service, from visiting you to take your eye tests to delivering your eyewear to your doorstep when it is completed.

BERLIN BRANDENBURG AIRPORT:

NOT OPEN YET!

You can’t fly from this one yet: it’s famous for its delayed opening. Construction began way back in 2006! Originally slated to be completed by 2011, the airport’s opening day has been delayed time and time again, with estimates placing its opening to be no sooner than 2021. Well, at least the airport won’t open until it’s ready!

Make sure your workplace is safety-ready too: feel free to drop us a message or call if you have any questions!

Warm regards,

Shirley Ng
