We find it so interesting because it portrays a world where humans and Pokemon live in harmony.
What if you lived in the Pokemon world and wanted to raise a dangerous but awesome creature? At PDS, we care about your safety, both in this world and in fantasy worlds.
So here’s our guide on how to raise a Scyther: a Pokemon with arms made of blades.
GOOD LUCK!
First, what are we up against?
Scyther is a Mantis Pokemon, but it’s no squishy bug! It looks like a cross between a carnivorous dinosaur and the Grim Reaper.
With all those sharp and pointy bits, cut protection is an absolute necessity. Here is some PPE that can help!
Scyther are loyal and honourable Pokemon. But just like humans, they can get hangry, so you may need some protection as you pass it food!
ATG MAXICUT® ULTRA™ GLOVES
These gloves are thin and breathable, yet are highly cut-resistant. Despite being only 1mm thick, they are rated Cut Level 5. Get them now to make sure you don't lose your fingers! Learn more
These great alternatives also provide comfortable and effective cut resistance. They come in a variety of models and weights depending on the exact type of protection you need!
TILSATEC RHINO PU GRIP LITE
Since you’re dealing with a Scyther, we’d recommend at least a medium weight cut-resistant model. These gloves offer good levels of cut and abrasion resistance, with a polyeurethane palm coating that delivers superb dry grip. Learn more
However, gloves are not nearly enough protection. Scyther’s blades are so long and sharp that you don’t want to be disarmed… literally!
ATG MAXICUT® ULTRA™ SLEEVES
Lightweight and comfortable sleeves that offer a high degree of cut protection, these sleeves use cutting-edge technology to defend you from the cutting edge!
Scyther can be dangerous creatures, but do not fear! With the right PPE, accidents can be prevented.
Don’t forget to treat your Pokemon with love, respect, and food too!
